It's Veteran's Day in the U.S. and Remembrance Day in Canada, so in honor of our veterans, we're taking the day off.

We will, as always have news if it breaks, and the TTAC Rewind will still appear Sunday. Otherwise, take some time to reflect on the sacrifices veterans have made for the rest of us, and if you know one, thank them.

My Dad is a Vietnam vet. I'm grateful to him, and to everyone else who serves and protects our country.

  Thank him for his service. Vietnam was a very unpopular war and because of that Vietnam Vets have been overlooked in the past. They still served their country and should be given just as much respect as any veteran.

  My girlfriend's dad served in Vietnam. He lost part of his leg and an eye there. Amazingly enough, though, his remaining eye is good enough to do competitive shooting with. She jokes that I'd better be good to her or he'll snipe me from 150 yards.
