Used Car of the Day: 2005 Scion xB

Today we bring you a 2005 Scion xB that needs a bit of work.

Only a bit, though, or so it seems. The pics show some minor cosmetic issues, but our seller says that there are no mods and the struts, brakes, and head gasket have been replaced within the last 30,000 miles. The overall mileage is 167K.

It's a stick shift, for those who, like myself, prefer to row their own.

The title is clean and the price is right at just $2,500.

  The xB1 was a one-hit wonder for the entire Scion brand. The xA was cute but less distinctive, and the tC had almost no distinction.
  Twenty years later in today's high-dollar, high-horsepower, high-feature-set environment, the original Scion vision seems quaint and outdated.

I have a 2004 Xb right now the odometer reads 265,000 miles no mayor issues ,pay 14,500 . you don't need complaints about this lunch box the best .

Buckwheat It seems like there should be SOME market left for a domestic intermediate or full-size sedan. I have a CUV, a Camaro, and a couple pickups, but I would buy a new car immediately if somebody built a car similar to my 2000 Lesabre. It's a beater but is quiet, rides smooth, has good outward visibility, great comfy seats, 30 mpg highway.

Lorenzo Yes, more sedans, but NOT "four-door coupes" with low, sloping rooflines. There's a market: The Malibu sold only 39,376 in 2021, but 115,467 in 2022, and130,342 last year. Surely GM can make money at that volume, even though it's the 4-D-C design. Auto executives need to pay less attention to stock price and more to the customers.
