Today's video of the week is an easy one.

If you missed the livestream of Dodge's Last Call, or want to see it again, here you go.

You'll see Tim Kuniskis's speech, the Dodge Demon 170 running the track, and my ugly mug as I took some of the photos you saw on this very site. All that, and more.

Click here to see the festivities and to send the muscle car off into the EV future in proper fashion.

Tim Healey grew up around the auto-parts business and has always had a love for cars — his parents joke his first word was “‘Vette”. Despite this, he wanted to pursue a career in sports writing but he ended up falling semi-accidentally into the automotive-journalism industry, first at Consumer Guide Automotive and later at Web2Carz.com. He also worked as an industry analyst at Mintel Group and freelanced for About.com, CarFax, Vehix.com, High Gear Media, Torque News, FutureCar.com, Cars.com, among others, and of course Vertical Scope sites such as AutoGuide.com, Off-Road.com, and HybridCars.com. He’s an urbanite and as such, doesn’t need a daily driver, but if he had one, it would be compact, sporty, and have a manual transmission.

How much is Dodge paying for this?

So the Camaro is getting the axe, the Challenger is belly up, the Charger is also fading out of existence. Maaaaan Michigan better have a game plan on how to inject some soul back into the American carscape. The Mustang and Corvette can't do it on their own. Dark times we're living in, bro's. How long do you think it'll be before the US starts to backpedal on our EV mandates now that the EU has rolled back their ICE bans with synthetic fuel usage?

If taking away the noisiness, smelliness, and slowness of an ICE car makes a car soulless, souls are overrated!

My EV is the first car I've genuinely liked without any asterisks.

Unless muscle cars and pony like cars come back in popularity they will continue to disappear. Seems like some commenters are still not aware that pickups, suvs, and crossovers are what is selling. Manufacturers are going to make what sells regardless of who is the President. It is strictly business.

The Mach-E became a Mustang because Ford was going to build an electric crossover.

But the question was which is wore for the Mustang brand: getting beat on the track by a CUV, or becoming the Mustang CUV. Ford chose the second choice.

38:25 to 45:40 -- Let's all wait around for the stupid ugly helicopter. 😉

The wheels and tires are cool, as in a) carbon fiber is a structural element not decoration and b) they have some sidewall.

Also like the automatic fuel adjustment (gasoline vs. ethanol).

(Anyone know why it's more powerful on E85? Huh? Huh?)

Trick question? e85 runs over 100 octane so you can advance the ignition more.
