Italian Company Releases Picture Of Car, Everyone Is Too Polite To Use The Phrase "Retarded Fish" In Connection With Said Picture

You can tell it’s a slow news day when something like this gets so much traction across the blogosphere. Puritalia, a brand-new Italian company which claims to be able to build, like, whatever car you could imagine, has taken the wraps off a picture of a “427” roadster. Although they claim to be inspired by Shelby, there’s another possibility which is in no way undermined by the odd fin-and-gill-like structures on the fender.

We’re very excited about this 605-horsepower. aluminum-monocoque supercar’s arrival on American shores. We’re also very excited at the idea that someone will extract dinosaur DNA from prehistoric mosquitoes trapped in amber and then use that DNA to create a giant dino-centric amusement park on a remote island. In the meantime, anybody who is just burning with the need to buy a brand-new Cobra-inspired roadster with a high-power engine and modern engineering can click here and search for all vehicles with the model year “2010” for a pleasant surprise.

I think it's kind of cute. That's the kind of face the girls will make seeing it for the first time. Then you've got them hooked...

According to Puritalia's own website, "the only electric motor is for wipers". I guess you have to manually crank the damn thing? That sounds MANLY.
