  Who’s to say there isn’t atmosphere on that planet (or moon)?? The funny bit for me was the “Professional driver on a closed course. Do not attempt.” legalese across the bottom of the frame. –chuck

  Anything—anything—that plays House of Pain is automatically awesome, just by default. It was a sad day when I excised this and Insane in the Membrane from my playlist. Some things are iffy when you chauffer toddlers, and the lyrics are distinct, and thusly discretion was the better part of valour.

  Sorry, any music that has that repeated “SQUEEE” is an immediate turn-off to me. For a commercial, OK. BTW – the “urban music”, the “dancing rock collection” and the “stolen wheels”… Is there any audience that would react with anything beyond a knowing nod? Bridgestone hit their peak with the “squirrel” ad.

  I thought this was a clever and funny little ad. However, until I saw the headline of this new blog bit, I hadn’t realized that this was an ad for Bridgestone. When the cuteness of the ad overshadows the product that it is promoting, you’ve got to give it an ‘F.’

  Some of Saturn’s moons have atmosphere… Titan, for instance has an atmosphere with more pressure at “sea level” than earth’s. Although it has tons of clouds and i doubt you’d be able to see out of them…

  Great spot, funny and kept your attention. But to me it said more about the rims then the tires, maybe they were rollin’ on 24″ chrome spinners and that’s why they got jacked? Maybe the Moon/Mars is bad place to park? Thus it would have worked better as a Lo-Jack commercial.

  The commercial is almost an exact copy of a cartoon that appeared in MAD Magazine back in the early 70′s when the lunar rover was employed. Otherwise, a funny commercial.
