BMW I3 Models Now Available Through Amazon Japan
You can order a lot things from Amazon, including books, CDs and giant drums of lubricant. If you’re in Japan, though, you can also order a BMW i3.
Yahoo Maktoob News reports sales of the i3 began on Wednesday, a move BMW Japan hopes “will cover the entire market more thoroughly” alongside the 46 dealers already selling the model in Japan, widening the sales channel while providing more convenience to potential owners in so doing.
Those who do order their i3 will have their choice of either the electric-only model or the range-extender version. However, the purchase will only be completed once BMW calls up the would-be owner to request documentation regarding parking and charging space for the vehicle.

Remember back in 2005 when you could buy a Chrysler Crossfire on Overstock.com? That still slays me.
The BMW Aztec.
Wow that's hideous.
This is quite surprising given that the selection of products on Amazon Japan is an abomination otherwise.
