Housekeeping: Happy Holidays

As per usual, we're going to head into the Christmas holiday by taking some time off.

We're going to shut down mid-afternoon today, and we will be off this weekend and Monday, though, as always, there is a chance of a stray post popping up here and there.

Next week we'll be working full days Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, though we anticipate having fewer posts than normal. Next Friday will be a half-day ahead of the new year. We'll be off on January 2nd, and back at full speed on January 3rd. Oh, and the tech column takes a break this week -- we expect there will be one more before the year ends.

Happy holidays, merry Christmas, happy Hanukkah, happy Kwanzaa, happy Festivus...whatever you celebrate, enjoy the time off and time with your families. Drive safe, don't drink and drive, and be COVID-safe. I'm not kidding about that last one -- I let my guard and my mask down for some holiday gatherings a couple of weekends ago and came down with COVID. Thankfully my case is very mild, no worse than a cold (and I am already on the mend), but it borked some plans I had. Cases are on the rise, so be careful.

We'll see you next week!
