Housekeeping: Happy Holidays

by Tim Healey

We're in the heart of the holiday season, so we're ducking out early and taking off until Tuesday.

Unless big news breaks, of course. Even when we return next week, we may be a bit slow before hitting the ground running in 2024.

So have a good holiday, whatever holiday(s) you celebrate, and don't drink and drive. Be safe, and with respiratory viruses on the rise, take care of yourself and your loved ones.

I hope you have fun and we'll see you Tuesday.

Tim Healey grew up around the auto-parts business and has always had a love for cars — his parents joke his first word was “‘Vette”. Despite this, he wanted to pursue a career in sports writing but he ended up falling semi-accidentally into the automotive-journalism industry, first at Consumer Guide Automotive and later at Web2Carz.com. He also worked as an industry analyst at Mintel Group and freelanced for About.com, CarFax, Vehix.com, High Gear Media, Torque News, FutureCar.com, Cars.com, among others, and of course Vertical Scope sites such as AutoGuide.com, Off-Road.com, and HybridCars.com. He’s an urbanite and as such, doesn’t need a daily driver, but if he had one, it would be compact, sporty, and have a manual transmission.

Telluride International would like to thank TTAC for it's unbiased and dedicated positive coverage of the most important SUV for under $100K. Even where it is fully irrelevant, TTAC has found ways to cleverly incorporate this highly sought after ingot of automotive excellence into it's quality crafted content.

Santa Claus is real, your local car dealership can offer you solid financial advice, and new cars have fewer problems than used.

TTAC Reader Review: Ferrari (the movie, not the car, and definitely not the SUV)

Not bad, if you are a fan of carburetors, bias ply tires, spectator deaths, serial infidelity or Brock Yates.

For me, this puts it at a solid 2/5 (5 being best; this movie not being best).

(Yes you should see it, just don't expect too much)
