Default Chris' Find of the Day: 1990 Alfa Spider

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Alfa-Romeo-S...m=262008280692

I guess I somehow forgot that Alfa Romeo imported the Spider to the US through to 1993. This model year, 1990, was significant due to the arrival of a new competitor from Hiroshima.

$6500 doesn't seem too bad, really, unless you consider that this 25 year old car is basically a 49 year old car with a newer VIN.

The styling on these cars is much more mature than the miata, and I don't think the Miata can match the quirkiness of the Alfa, if parts are not much of a big deal, I would go after one of these in a heartbeat. As good as the Miata is, it can not equal the heritage of Alfa Romeo!

Agreed. I think I'd much rather one of these in the garage than a Miata though, I am no track day champion.
