Matt covered it yesterday, but we can't stop watching it -- it's Ross Chastain going full video-game mode in NASCAR.

I've seen the video from all sorts of angles since Sunday -- I missed the race, but a friend hipped me to it -- including in-car action. Now, I've found one with the telemetry.

Go ahead, take a gander at it below.

Tim Healey grew up around the auto-parts business and has always had a love for cars — his parents joke his first word was “‘Vette”. Despite this, he wanted to pursue a career in sports writing but he ended up falling semi-accidentally into the automotive-journalism industry, first at Consumer Guide Automotive and later at Web2Carz.com. He also worked as an industry analyst at Mintel Group and freelanced for About.com, CarFax, Vehix.com, High Gear Media, Torque News, FutureCar.com, Cars.com, among others, and of course Vertical Scope sites such as AutoGuide.com, Off-Road.com, and HybridCars.com. He’s an urbanite and as such, doesn’t need a daily driver, but if he had one, it would be compact, sporty, and have a manual transmission.

I have NASCAR 2005 and a GameCube buried in a box somewhere. Ross said he used that move in that game. Now I think I need to hook it back up, but no HDMI with the GameCube.

A lot of TVs still have composite input (yellow; red, white), though I don't think any now come with component (red, green, blue; red, white). I think there are some decent HDMI converters out there, though it may depend on which model GC you have. Or if you have an early model Wii, you can play the GC games on that, and get an HDMI adapter for the Wii (such as the one from Mayflash).
