QOTD: Will You Pony Up For the Dark Horse's Carbon-Fiber Wheels?
We know the upcoming Ford Mustang will offer a hi-po Dark Horse trim, and that trim will be available with carbon-fiber wheels. They won't be cheap.
Question is -- if you can afford the Dark Horse, would you pay more for these wheels?
Before you answer, here's the price Ford is going to want -- almost $8,500.
So, were it your money on the line, would you pay it?
I sometimes, for "work", price out new cars. But it's mostly an academic exercise. I often can't afford these vehicles. If I could afford the Dark Horse, I don't know if I'd pay for these wheels -- they look pretty, but I'd be worried about damage.
But maybe you would spend the dough.

No on the carbon wheels, heck yes on that blue paint!
The whole black wheel fad has got to die. And I don't care WHAT they're made of. They don't look any different than the wheels on someone's Kia Soul. Now, weight savings....that's a different story. What are you going to say to your wife/girlfriend when comes home and she's curb-rashed them......?
LOL! My wife won't even get near my car. She won't get in it. She couldn't drive it if her life depended on it. Perfect.
When do they offer the plain steel wheels without holes and with dog dish hub caps?
