QOTD: Feeling Green

Today is St. Patrick's Day. I'm wearing a green t-shirt that mixes the Irish and Chicago flags together*, there's corned beef in my crock pot, and Guinness in my fridge for later. Meanwhile, Fox News auto writer Gary Gastelu has asked the most relevant question.

He's wondering what the best green car ever is. We're wondering, too. Thanks to Gary -- and all credit to him, we're not here to steal ideas -- for bringing this up.

Since our audience is different than his Twitter following, I'd like to propose the same question to you all.

Tip your hat to Gary (or better yet, give him a Twitter follow) and sound off below.

As for me, I am going to go with anything British Racing Green. Your turn.

*Chicago locals know the shirt I'm wearing. I bought mine ages ago at The Alley, may it rest in peace.

Tim Healey grew up around the auto-parts business and has always had a love for cars — his parents joke his first word was “‘Vette”. Despite this, he wanted to pursue a career in sports writing but he ended up falling semi-accidentally into the automotive-journalism industry, first at Consumer Guide Automotive and later at Web2Carz.com. He also worked as an industry analyst at Mintel Group and freelanced for About.com, CarFax, Vehix.com, High Gear Media, Torque News, FutureCar.com, Cars.com, among others, and of course Vertical Scope sites such as AutoGuide.com, Off-Road.com, and HybridCars.com. He’s an urbanite and as such, doesn’t need a daily driver, but if he had one, it would be compact, sporty, and have a manual transmission.
