Electric Buick SUV Spied

Spy shooters have spotted a Buick EV SUV.

While Autoblog's headline refers to it as a Buick Electra, it's unclear if Buick will actually use that moniker or if it will get a generic alphanumeric like E1-E9 -- Buick has trademarked those names, along with Electra.

The size of this vehicle is also unclear from the spy shots since they provide no frame of reference versus other cars.

There appears to be a three-bar brake light that matches Buick's new logo and thin LED lights front and rear, with the DRLs getting a downward kink in terms of shape.

It appears this vehicle rides on 20s -- Michelin e-Primacys, to be specific -- and that seems to be par for the course for vehicles using GM's Ultium EV platform.

Camouflage keeps prying eyes from discerning more about the styling, and as is often the case with prototypes, we're thin on specs. Autoblog speculates a 2023 debut for a 2024 launch, and we see no reason to disagree.

Tim Healey grew up around the auto-parts business and has always had a love for cars — his parents joke his first word was “‘Vette”. Despite this, he wanted to pursue a career in sports writing but he ended up falling semi-accidentally into the automotive-journalism industry, first at Consumer Guide Automotive and later at Web2Carz.com. He also worked as an industry analyst at Mintel Group and freelanced for About.com, CarFax, Vehix.com, High Gear Media, Torque News, FutureCar.com, Cars.com, among others, and of course Vertical Scope sites such as AutoGuide.com, Off-Road.com, and HybridCars.com. He’s an urbanite and as such, doesn’t need a daily driver, but if he had one, it would be compact, sporty, and have a manual transmission.

Electra is a perfect name for an EV. Very good name and looking forward to seeing more pictures, more specs, and pricing.

Agree, I was going to say it but you said it first. Buick would be completely missing a bet if they didn't use the Electra name for its biggest, nicest all-electric SUV.

I am making $92 an hour working from home. i was greatly surprised at the same time as my neighbor advised me she changed into averaging $95 however I see the way it works now. I experience mass freedom now that I’m my non-public boss.

    That is what I do……….. http://dollermake94usa.pages.dev/

So the Blazer EV is going to be the new GMT360 Trailblazer. We'll have versions from Chevy, Buick, Cadillac, Honda, and presumably GMC in the near future.
