Leaked Docs Show Honda Civic Hatch, Si On-Sale Dates
Leaked Honda marketing materials seem to show when the Honda Civic hatchback and hopped-up Si trim will go on sale.
The docs don’t confirm specs, though we already know the hatch will offer a manual transmission. But we now know the hatchback hits stores in September and the performance-tuned Si is slated to follow by a month with an October launch.
Yes, Si intenders, you can wake up when September ends.
As we noted before, hatchback specs will be unveiled tonight (though we don’t know if that includes Si, nor do we know what body styles the Si will be offered in) and the hatchback will be built in America for the first time, in Indiana.
The leaked docs also show that Honda plans a big marketing push for Civic over the latter half of the summer.
Honda Civic summer, indeed.

I'll try to keep an open mind about the new Si with a manual transmission. But no promises about buying one - yet.
