Lexus has added a turbocharger to the LF-NX concept that it introduced at the Frankfurt auto show, calling the result the LF-NX Turbo and unveiling it at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show.

If the engine makes it to production, that would be the first forced induction motor for Toyota’s luxury brand. The turbo is mounted to a 2.0 liter four cylinder engine with what Toyota is calling advanced high tumble port, fan spray fuel injection along with D-4S direct injection and VVT-iw variable valve timing. When it goes into production as the NX, the will slot in below the RX, in the red hot compact crossover segment.

  • NormSV650 You forgot to mention this is not a ground EV but based on Volvo CMA ICE platform. Which is also shared with XC40 and Polestar 2. So it may be a few years old now and not cutting edge as other EV's.

  • NotMyCircusNotMyMonkeys for that money, it had better be built by people listening to ABBA
  • Abrar Very easy and understanding explanation about brake paint
  • MaintenanceCosts We need cheaper batteries. This is a difficult proposition at $50k base/$60k as tested but would be pretty compelling at $40k base/$50k as tested.
