Egg crates! The most ubiquitous pattern in…egg storage devices and grilles. Now which year and model car used this particular variation of the theme? Figuring that should keep you out of trouble for a few hours, maybe. Maybe not. The Toyota FJ hubcap kept at least one of our readers involved for some time. At 8:44 PM, the duke got real close, with his Toyota Toyopet guess. Even though I shot that down, the duke did not give up, and at 12:46 PM, he got it! Congratulations; persistence does pay off, sometimes.

1980 Ford LTD Crown Vic. At first I thought it was a full-size Olds, but it's Panther appreciation week.
Thats got to be from my old 73 Monte Carlo with the Landau roof and vinly interior and no a/c/ What a hot car. Doors, huge and long that could ding anything within yards of it when opened. I still loved that crate it just looked super cool in double blue.
I was thinking Crown Vic, but for some reason I'm wondering if this isn't a '77 -'79 Plymouth Volare.
It looks like the 1988 Cadillac DeVille grill. Right on the center.
