Retro? That thing looks like it came out of a Blade Runner-inspired anime. It looks like a combination of the 350Z with the GT-R's roofline and the headlights and taillights from a Maxima.

Not at all a bad car. Curvaceous where it should be, much less fat-looking than the current model and the detailing/design language works here in exactly the way it fails to on the Maxima. It's not up to, say, Mazda's level of artful sculpting (and let's not speak of the current lozenge Miata) but it's a good-looking car.

It looks like a combination of the 350Z with the GT-R’s roofline and the headlights and taillights from a Maxima. That's why it's ugly, imo. Still looks bloated, too. Shortening the wheelbase certainly didn't help the looks, even if it help cut weight. The cabin also looks like they designed it at the last minute. To me, the best-looking one was the 300ZX Twin Turbo.

@james2:To me, the best-looking one was the 300ZX Twin Turbo. I agree, that car was teh sexy in the 90's. Many of us wanted to own it but were so young still to afford one!
