QOTD: Should Mazda Build The Vision X-Coupe?
It seems clear that the Mazda Vision X-Compact previews a future Mazda crossover. But the Vision X-Coupe concept -- it's harder to tell.
Mazda seems to positioning the coupe as a possible PHEV sports car, but I keep wondering if the brand will modify the look, add two doors, and bring it to market as a sports sedan.
What do you think?

Despite this, he wanted to pursue a career in sports writing but he ended up falling semi-accidentally into the automotive-journalism industry, first at Consumer Guide Automotive and later at Web2Carz.com. He also worked as an industry analyst at Mintel Group and freelanced for About.com, CarFax, Vehix.com, High Gear Media, Torque News, FutureCar.com, Cars.com, among others, and of course Vertical Scope sites such as AutoGuide.com, Off-Road.com, and HybridCars.com. In the days where SUVs and pickups rule, no. I'm pretty sure the accountants will agree.
I know it's called a Coupe, but it does seem to feature four doors. Obviously buyers don't want anything that isn't high off the ground, boxy and has tons of plastic cladding.
No. They won't build this.
