Electric Porsche Boxster Spied

Porsche has already said the 718 Boxster and Cayman are going electric.
Now a prototype has been spotted out on the road.
Autoblog has the shots, which are claimed to have captured the car on a test circuit. It looks to be an early-stage prototype.
We'll second AB in noting that, as per usual with prototypes, camouflage is being to good use to disguise the looks, though the car is still clearly a Boxster.
The spy shots do seem to show that the Boxster will gain in both wheelbase and overall length, and the rear taillight appears to be a full-width unit. There's a center exhaust cutout that is almost certainly a fake-out to try to get observers to think they aren't seeing an EV. Other observable details include wide tires -- there were actually two testers spied, and one appeared to have summer tires and the other winter -- and large, drilled brake rotors.
Other specs remain a mystery at this time.

I'll bet it weighs 4500 lbs, goes 200 miles on a charge, and costs $100K. In other words, a fail.
At least the drivetrain will be more reliable.
