Housekeeping: Happy Memorial Day
It's Memorial Day 2025, and we're taking Monday off.
As usual -- be safe, have fun, don't drink and drive, and respect those who died for our freedoms. Enjoy the racing if you're into F1 and/or Indycar and/or NASCAR.
Enjoy your barbecues and if you're into fireworks, be careful. I know it's a not a big fireworks holiday, but I put those words out there just in case.
Alright, with that, it's the weekend. Enjoy. See you Tuesday.

Tim Healey grew up around the auto-parts business and has always had a love for cars — his parents joke his first word was “‘Vette”. Despite this, he wanted to pursue a career in sports writing but he ended up falling semi-accidentally into the automotive-journalism industry, first at Consumer Guide Automotive and later at Web2Carz.com. He also worked as an industry analyst at Mintel Group and freelanced for About.com, CarFax, Vehix.com, High Gear Media, Torque News, FutureCar.com, Cars.com, among others, and of course Vertical Scope sites such as AutoGuide.com, Off-Road.com, and HybridCars.com. He’s an urbanite and as such, doesn’t need a daily driver, but if he had one, it would be compact, sporty, and have a manual transmission.

- SPPPP Well, at least it lets you select the brake regen level. I hate that dash, though.
- Bkojote Wow, I can use the touch screen to adjust the steering wheel and oh my god i'm in hell.
- Bkojote Without "Allison" I'll be forced to sit on the "non commercial" side of the truck stop diner and will be laughed at by all the real truckers because I can't tell them I've 'basically got the same transmission' as their Freightshaker. I still owe 85k on my Duramax. Please help.
- ToolGuy™ Thanks Trump.
- Bkojote I once saw a hacker documentary where the guy said "a gigabyte of RAM will do the trick" and was able to access the mainframe. So the solution is simple: ban RAM.
