The Ford Motor Company has announced that it is looking to enhance the appeal of its Fiesta sub-compact through the power of bacon. According to the Ford Custom Graphics website, lovers of crispy pork products can order any of four different bacon themed vinyl wraps ranging a “mini-strips” package which costs a modest $78.75 all the way up to a “full bacon wrap” for $3347. The website indicates that Ford Custom Graphic vinyl products, properly installed and maintained, are covered by a three year warranty and have been tested to ensure that they can be used all year round regardless of the weather. With International Bacon Day set to take place on August 31st, the time to show the world your meat is now.

Roses are red, bacon is too, I'm no good at poetry, BACON! Thanks for the heads up on Bacon Day. I'm going to eat "Bim Bop Bacon and Eggs" at my favorite brunch spot tomorrow. It's on a site that used to be "Cox's Cleaner" and the name can be abbreviated T and A. I love the place. Oh yeah, parking it cheap. (car related tie in OK?)

It's here! International Bacon Day! Does anybody have a recipe for cooking bacon on your exhaust manifold? I lost my article on engine compartment cooking.

I've heard about that. Need to be especially careful baking bread under the hood..too many carbs! (:: Rim shot!! ::)

  • Probert There's something wrong with that chart. The 9 month numbers for Tesla, in the chart, are closer to Tesla's Q3 numbers. They delivered 343,830 cars in q3 and YoY it is a 40% increase. They sold 363,830 but deliveries were slowed at the end of the quarter - no cars in inventory. For the past 9 months the total sold is 929,910 . So very good performance considering a major shutdown for about a month in China (Covid, factory revamp). Not sure if the chart is also inaccurate for other makers.
  • ToolGuy "...overall length grew only fractionally, from 187.6” in 1994 to 198.7” in 1995."Something very wrong with that sentence. I believe you just overstated the length by 11 inches.
  • ToolGuy There is no level of markup on the Jeep Wrangler which would not be justified or would make it any less desirable [perfectly inelastic demand, i.e., 'I want one']. Source: My 21-year-old daughter.
  • ToolGuy Strong performance from Fiat.
  • Inside Looking Out GM is like America, it does the right thing only after trying everything else.  As General Motors goes, so goes America.
