yup, the guys on my E28 board are aghast at a clean looking 535i being put down. too. It is a waste.. Of resources and tax money. The vast majority of the new cars bought with this boondoggle will be clunkers in 5 yrs.
Bastards!!! It's painful to see a perfectly running motor like that to die in that way. They should sell them as used parts at least.
