Frankly, it'd be more impressive to have a regular person in a blindfold reach that speed. I'd imagine overcoming the absence of sight when one is used to having it is more difficult. It's really not a big deal, but people love to patronize the disabled. Cool guy, bad media.
Big deal. Half the people out there on my morning commute are blind.
