Car Dealers Sell Cars By Making Fun of Themselves

I was waiting for the clip where someone kicks this badger's head off. annoying thing... i dont mean to be violent, but that's how i feel when a salesman sticks and gets on my nerves.

Reminds me how much I hate buying cars. I've bought five new cars in the last ten years, and it's always been an adventure. First new car purchase, I was the fish on a hook and the sales manager had me. Thankfully the car was a very good choice so that made up for it (at least I try and justify... LOL). Second new car, I used Autobytel. The finance guy still tried to up sell me which I kept saying NO before he even finished. Third new car, the salesman kept going back to his sales manager to get me a good deal like he was working for me. That went on for 30 minutes and when we were walking out, they finally gave me what I had originally asked for. Later I was pissed that I didn't go further with those jerks. Fourth new car, used corporate employee pricing. I brought my own financing, and the finance chick still tried to up sell me and was flat out rude when I turned her down. What a hag! I complained about her later but I never heard anything go figure. Fifth new car, a Civic I just ordered. Agreed to a price by email (Honda isn't dealing much at all since they can't keep them on their lots... mine will be in the first week of Nov.). I'm bringing my own financing but I'm still expecting the up sells. (sigh) I was also shopping for used XJ's recently. I stopped by a few small town used car dealers. One place had pictures of Jesus in their office like I could therefore trust them! I ended up catching the owner in a lie and I walked out. I'm done with buying more cars for awhile...

Hmmm Man, each and every example brings a tingle to my spine. Did a drive for the heck of it at a Saturn store.. while they were doing their Accord / AURA / Camry push and couldnt believe how they lie. Not to mention... I go there for kicks. I want to see.. the kinds of ruthless, gutless, pathetic, low down filthy lies, that ya gonna try on me. At that time.. my 92 Accord had about 220k on the odo.. And I wanted to bait them soo badly. You'd have to pull a REAL THICK rug over my face.. to get me to prefer a Malibu / Aura over a 15yr old Accord. Not to mention.. I went to a Honda dealer and checked out their slew of Civics. They had a Fit out back, and their own staff had no idea it was there. As I was waitin for keys to test a Fit, I was conversed with the current Accord. What a FAT ASS! That car, isnt midsized. Shes pushin 3800lbs.. and within inches of Impala / 300 and Crown Vic / Taurus. And a 4cycl 2.4ltr.. isnt gonna push this fat ass around. Least ya could do train ya sales staff... to have some idea of what ya dealin with.
