The Nissan Hyper Tourer Concept Could Be the Minivan of the Future
Yesterday we showed you a Nissan concept that was pretty punk. Today we bring you another vehicle that the brand will bring to next week's Japan Mobility Show -- the Nissan Hyper Tourer Concept.
This minivan is an EV, and like the Hyper Punk concept we showed yesterday, it has the ability to use its battery to charge homes or electric devices. The Hyper Tourer has the ability to drive autonomously.
The floor on this all-wheel-drive concept is flat, and the interior concept is open -- meaning passengers can sit facing one another. An LED display shows images of a riverbed and the sky in an attempt to help occupants relax.
Not only can the occupants face each other, but seats swivel 360 degrees, meaning you can also have a setup where all folks face the same direction. Rear-seat passengers can control the audio and navigation via a wearable display, and like with yesterday's featured concept, AI and sensors are used to sense a driver's mood and select the appropriate mood and interior lighting.
The marketing-speak heavy press release also talks a lot about luxury materials and upscale design -- which you can see below. Scroll away.
