Volkswagen to Debut New EV Next Month at CES 2023

The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) was once reserved for products like video game consoles and home stereo equipment, but it’s increasingly becoming the go-to hotspot for automakers looking to promote a new EV. Volkswagen is the latest to jump on the CES train, as today the automaker announced that it would reveal a new EV at the 2023 show.
VW hasn’t shared any details on the vehicle, nor do we know the name. Some have speculated that this could be the long-anticipated ID.Aero sedan that the automaker teased earlier this year, but VW could also troll all of us by announcing something relatively mundane, such as the currently unavailable ID.3’s arrival in North America.
That said, the automaker has confirmed the ID.Aero sedan and ID.8 SUV would be joining its ID brand here in the United States, so it’s more likely we’ll see one of those vehicles. VW showed off an ID.Aero Concept car earlier this year, and production for the vehicle is coming in 2023.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear that we’ll know much more about the EV, even after its official reveal. VW said it would show a camouflaged version of the new vehicle and noted that the name would also be announced, but we’ll have to wait for more details.

Maybe VW should focus on fixing it's screwups before releasing new vehicles?? Probably separate teams doing these things, but there are many unhappy id4 owners.
Fingers crossed for the bus.
VWs BEVs to date, which were developed and made at a cost of many many BILLIONS, were failures. Will they get the next one right? WHat changed? If anything, it will cost them more to make, with all the recent increases in materials costs, and the flattening of the battery price reductions curve.
Silly VW. EV's are over.
