Some Stellantis rearview cameras aren't working properly.

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC)* is recalling 219,577 vehicles, including certain 2019–2021 Ram ProMaster and 2019–2020 Dodge Journey models. Cracks in the microprocessor may prevent the rearview camera image from displaying, which does not meet federal rear visibility requirements (FMVSS 111).

Dealers will replace the rearview camera at no cost. Interim owner notification letters are expected to be mailed beginning September 30, 2025, with a second notice to follow once the final remedy is available. Chrysler’s recall number is 59C. Owners can contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403.

The supplier here is Magna.

*NHTSA still uses Chrysler/FCA as opposed to Stellantis.

I just finished reading the back-up camera regs: its a bunch of wacko bureaucrat legalistic bolshoi, including nonsense terms like M and Kg. Just put big rear windows back, and ignore the so-called rule to put cameras and TV screens in the car.

How about performing recall on all the drivers of Dodge journeys?

  • Jeff It was the right decision to leave this as a concept.
  • Sayahh Was the Celica Toyota's pony car?
  • Rizzle The price is the same for a manual or automatic. If you want a manual you might want to get a 2025 or 2026 (or older) because who knows if VW will offer the manual in 27. It could be deleted just like they did for the GTI and R. It is too bad you can't get a GLI in S form without the sunroof and with a cloth interior. Same basic car but many $1000s less. Yeah, the red stripes are a bit silly, but someone at VW thinks they are cool. In the good old days they would have put on racing stripes and fake louvers and called it the GLI-X.
  • ToolGuy™ I have always resented how GM did not consult me on styling choices.
  • ToolGuy™ Ford produces 6,819 vehicles in about 17 minutes.
