Just a friendly reminder for any TTAC Black Friday shoppers- if you witness any fights between aggressive shoppers today, remember to first turn your smartphone sideways before starting the recording!

Ahh, Black Friday. Nothing says gratitude better than fighting your neighbor for even more stuff. It really is a fascinating American tradition, at least viewed from afar in Canada.

We also have our version of black friday (vendredi fou in Quebec) but people aren’t fighting for junk… yet.

Just Chilling at Home. Nobody in my household had participated in Black Friday since about 2005.

My in-laws went out stupid early this AM so they could get a 7.5 foot prelit Christmas tree sill cheap at Home Depot but at least they’ve had the previous tree for a decade or more.

What are the odds those LED lights will be used to blind on-coming traffic? I replaced two 60W incandescent ‘jelly jar’ exterior house lights with two 20W LED fixtures. We refer to them as the jail-break lights. Looking at 30W ones might melt your eyeballs – can’t imagine how they could be street legal.
