Chevy Detailed a Longer Range and Lower Price for the Silverado EV RST
Chevrolet is readying deliveries of the Silverado EV RST, and the truck’s already impressive specs just got a boost. The automaker now states a range of 440 miles for the luxurious electric pickup, increasing the originally advertised 400-mile range. That makes it almost as robust as the more stripped-down 4WT (Work Truck) trim, which boasts a 450-mile driving range.

GM Offering Reimbursement to Early Chevy Blazer EV Owners
General Motors desperately needed its next-generation EVs to make a good impression. The company is fighting Ford and others in a race to match and outperform Tesla, but it hasn’t had the best luck along the way. After announcing that Ultium-based EVs would not offer Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, GM issued a stop sale for the Chevy Blazer EV over software issues. The issues were bad enough for the automaker to offer an olive branch to early owners in the form of a financial reimbursement.

The Honda Prologue Gets Major Boost with Federal Tax Credit Eligibility
Honda leaned on General Motors to help get its EV program off the ground here in the U.S., and it appears that the partnership is paying off in other ways. The automaker recently announced that its upcoming Prologue EV would be eligible for federal tax credits of $7,500, meaning buyers can get around 15 percent off the SUV’s purchase price at the point of sale.

Acura Reveals the 2024 ZDX Electric SUV
Honda and Acura have been slower than most automakers to the punch when it comes to EVs, but the Japanese companies are working to accelerate their efforts. Partnering with General Motors is part of the process, and the first vehicles to come out of that pairing are the Honda Prologue and Acura ZDX. Today, Acura gave more detail on its electric SUV, which will land in 2024.
