The Fairmont was the Fox platform-based cheap midsize Ford that replaced the Maverick, and nobody ever paid much attention to the Fairmont sedans. However, the sporty coupe version of the Fairmont— the Futura— had a certain style, much like Mercury Zephyr Coupe, and so I decided this ’80 was worth photographing when I spotted it in a San Francisco Bay Area wrecking yard a few months ago.

Matt PoskyAbsolutely, especially considering that the wealth gap widening to unprecedented levels. I'd go so far as to argue that most upper-level management is grossly overpaid. But companies will continue to spend their fortunes as they see fit and a lot of CEOs will be glad they got paid so much after the board inevitably decides to throw them under the bus. Corporate culture changes over the course of generations, not years.
Ajla-If the GLH is destined to be available only through Direct Connection then it is basically never going to exist.-The rumor is that the Compass will also be getting these power trains, which I think could be a big help to that vehicle. I also wouldn't be surprised to see a Jeep version(s) of the Hornalé soon.-The styling of the Hornet is similar to the Charger and Durango which is a little surprising since those vehicles will be gone soon and I thought they might go in a different direction. We'll see what the "eMuscle" car looks like tonight (my guess is a 4-Series Gran coupe with a '70 Charger mask).
