Used Cars of the Day: 1993 Dodge Daytonas
Yup, it's plural today -- someone is selling not one but two 1993 Dodge Daytonas.
Both are definitely project cars, though the black one does run. You could part either one out, as well.
Or you could be like me and daydream that these could be converted into minor-league race cars, and then one Friday, just as you thought you were too old to go pro, a NASCAR scout sees you and makes you the hottest rookie in Cup car.
One can dream, can't he?
Anyway, both have V6s and one is a stick, one an automatic. You can find the pair for $500 in West by God Virginia. Click here for more.

Tim Healey grew up around the auto-parts business and has always had a love for cars — his parents joke his first word was “‘Vette”. Despite this, he wanted to pursue a career in sports writing but he ended up falling semi-accidentally into the automotive-journalism industry, first at Consumer Guide Automotive and later at Web2Carz.com. He also worked as an industry analyst at Mintel Group and freelanced for About.com, CarFax, Vehix.com, High Gear Media, Torque News, FutureCar.com, Cars.com, among others, and of course Vertical Scope sites such as AutoGuide.com, Off-Road.com, and HybridCars.com. He’s an urbanite and as such, doesn’t need a daily driver, but if he had one, it would be compact, sporty, and have a manual transmission.

- SPPPP Well, at least it lets you select the brake regen level. I hate that dash, though.
- Bkojote Wow, I can use the touch screen to adjust the steering wheel and oh my god i'm in hell.
- Bkojote Without "Allison" I'll be forced to sit on the "non commercial" side of the truck stop diner and will be laughed at by all the real truckers because I can't tell them I've 'basically got the same transmission' as their Freightshaker. I still owe 85k on my Duramax. Please help.
- ToolGuy™ Thanks Trump.
- Bkojote I once saw a hacker documentary where the guy said "a gigabyte of RAM will do the trick" and was able to access the mainframe. So the solution is simple: ban RAM.

Brings back memories. I had a new '94, still have good memories of it. Always considered it a very nice blue-collar GT.
1 styling ages well. (good looking design)
2 unidirectional wheels. Not understood in WVa.
