Hyundai Reveals Updated Ioniq 6 and Teases Upcoming N Variant
Hyundai is expanding the Ioniq 6 lineup into a family of vehicles. The automaker recently announced a facelift for the uniquely styled car and revealed its plans for additional upcoming variants, including N-Line and full-fat N configurations.
The new car retains the basic shape of its predecessor, but it features a new front end and a more aggressive stance. Hyundai narrowed the headlights, and the new front-end shape is almost robotic. Hyundai didn’t show an N model, but the N-Line has even more aggressively styled front- and rear-end designs.
We didn’t get any specs for the updated Ioniq 6, but the recently-improved Ioniq 5 is probably a good starting point. It received a Tesla NACS port and range/battery improvements for the model year, which will likely trickle down to the Ioniq 6. The automaker also teased the N variant, giving a glimpse of the car’s rear end and spoiler in one of its press images.
Hyundai has teased the Ioniq 6 N before, showing a camouflaged car doing laps on a track, but we’ll have to wait until summer to learn more. The Ioniq 5 N is rapid, and it offers a bunch of clever features that help make it more than “just a fast EV.” The Ioniq 6’s sedan shape and lower stance should make for a better performance car, so it will be interesting to see where Hyundai ends up.

Where the designers inspired by suppositories?
Are the seats in this the same as the Ioniq 5? It felt like I was sitting on a bench. Granted, it's a new seat and not broken in, but still. Didn't feel that way in other cars, including other H/K cars.
