    Drag racers don't want IRS.

I hope Ford didn't drop the development money for the CGI - especially since they launched the video as a mirror image. As for the car - I like. A nice refinement on the current body. And Ford has somehow honed in on the art of exhaust tuning - what a great attribute they should focus on for all their cars.

BlueBrat: "Someone please explain why Ford still won’t put IRS back in the damn thing."The market for this car doesn't much care about IRS. Standard traction control cures enough of the live-axle's ills to satisfy most owners, is a whole lot cheaper and, most importantly, way more profitable than IRS.

I have to reserve judgment on the new design until I see it in person. It looks like there's a lot more "Bangleizaton" going on with the sheet-metal here, and sometimes these things look better in person than they do in a 2D picture. (Of course, sometimes they look much much worse.) I always thought one of the nicest things about the current Mustang design was that it was all about proportions, wide stance, long hood, etc, something that will stand the test of time aesthetically speaking. It was a very clean design, something that's pretty rare in the post-Bangle world.
