Today we bring another UCOTD with concise ad copy. This one is a 2002 Audi A6.

This car has the 3.0-liter V6 and front-wheel drive and the seller says that there isn't much the car needs.

He or she also notes the timing belt, steering pump, water pump, and alternator have been recently replaced. And the sound system is "thumping."

Click here to check out this Audi. It's in New Mexico for $5,500 and I didn't see a listed mileage.

Tim Healey grew up around the auto-parts business and has always had a love for cars — his parents joke his first word was “‘Vette”. Despite this, he wanted to pursue a career in sports writing but he ended up falling semi-accidentally into the automotive-journalism industry, first at Consumer Guide Automotive and later at Web2Carz.com. He also worked as an industry analyst at Mintel Group and freelanced for About.com, CarFax, Vehix.com, High Gear Media, Torque News, FutureCar.com, Cars.com, among others, and of course Vertical Scope sites such as AutoGuide.com, Off-Road.com, and HybridCars.com. He’s an urbanite and as such, doesn’t need a daily driver, but if he had one, it would be compact, sporty, and have a manual transmission.

Huh. From the front, it looks like a 1988 Chrysler LeBaron, and from the rear it looks like a 1996 Chrysler LHS. The comparison might not be flattering.

No one's mentioned the aftermarket headlights. There's another red flag that might dissuade many of the more discerning shoppers.

  • Corey Lewis So they kill the E coupe only to immediately bring it back as the CLE? I really don't get their naming strategy *at all*.
  • ToolGuy "rollercoaster"?
  • Jkross22 16/800. Something seems off with the number of people arrested. Way off.
  • Dave M. Welcoming news. During my latest acquisition I really liked the CX-5 but the mpgs weren't great. Hybrid option is overdue.
  • Klkrause I've thought that Cadillacs have at least been decent looking for the last decade or more, but their interiors have been quite lacking. The build quality and materials used in the interior seem like slightly upgraded Chevrolets instead of in the class of Audi, BMW, or Lexus. If I'm paying a premium for a luxury brand I expect to feel "pampered" when I'm driving or sitting in it.
