Used Car of the Day: 2008 Ford Mustang Bullitt

I have a soft spot for Bullitt Mustangs, and this 2008 Ford Mustang Bullitt that comes to us by way of New Mexico has piqued my interest.

It has a salvage title, so that raises a red flag, but the seller claims to have all the necessary CarFax info and that there was no airbag deployment.

There are 81,000 miles on the car and it's daily driven.

The seller has listed mods such as Ford Racing cams, a Ford Racing driveshaft, a tune, BBK headers and X pipe, upgraded mufflers, short-throw shifter, cross-drilled rotors, carbon-fiber duck-tail spoiler, and uplevel audio.

The car also has new springs, struts, shocks, and idler pulleys.

There are more -- you can see the full list here.

The seller also has the stock parts.

Check it out here.

Tim Healey grew up around the auto-parts business and has always had a love for cars — his parents joke his first word was “‘Vette”. Despite this, he wanted to pursue a career in sports writing but he ended up falling semi-accidentally into the automotive-journalism industry, first at Consumer Guide Automotive and later at Web2Carz.com. He also worked as an industry analyst at Mintel Group and freelanced for About.com, CarFax, Vehix.com, High Gear Media, Torque News, FutureCar.com, Cars.com, among others, and of course Vertical Scope sites such as AutoGuide.com, Off-Road.com, and HybridCars.com. He’s an urbanite and as such, doesn’t need a daily driver, but if he had one, it would be compact, sporty, and have a manual transmission.

That creep Patrick S. Tomlinson @stealthygeek forever ruined these for anyone who’s had the misfortune of stumbling across his lunacy

his has a salvage title just like this one but about 3x the miles and is in desperate need of new seat foam. He’s fat, you see.

This is a proper turd with the crusty 4.6 modular engine, oof.

  • Redapple2 The facility opened in 1987 ........................... Well. I was at GMAD Fairfax in 1981 so i m scratching my head on this one.
  • Jeff When Chevrolet started offering vehicles with features that were exclusive to Cadillac and Buick and Cadillac cheapened their cars to chase volume that was the beginning of the decline of the Cadillac brand. The same thing holds true for Ford and Lincoln. No compelling reason to buy the luxury brand over the lower tiered brand when the lower tiered brand can be comparably equipped for thousands less.
  • Lou_BC On a different note, I read that 30% of the world's energy is now generated by "renewable" sources.
  • Kjhkjlhkjhkljh kljhjkhjklhkjh not surprised their grid is as terrible as ours ...
  • Lou_BC EV's are a convenient foil. Cadillac has been searching for its place. Are are they luxury performance? In your face audacious? Do they offer prestige? What sets them apart from the rest of "the look at me I'm special" vehicle market? I can buy a Denali SUV or pickup with similar luxury.
