Like cars. No engineer or professional driver would design or drive a FWD car/SUV unless required to do so - current poor handling cars and SUVs (which means they are less safe in an emergency situation) are solely a result of unrealistic CAFE regulations foisted upon us by inane Congressmen. AWD vehicles with a 100% FWD bias in 99.9% of situations (where no wheel slippage is detected) are worse, they still handle like pigs and also weigh more!
