I thought VW sold more here in the US than they apparently do.

Oddly enough, Martin Winterkorn apparently thinks VW should sell more in the US than they do!

Wow…another dismal month for Ford…(he he he…) The Flex continues it’s trend of horrid sales…and was outsold by the ancient Explorer. The MKS didn’t even break 1K units The MKT is stuck at around 700. The Taurus is down almost 2K units from it’s best month. The Cadillac SRX outsold the WHOLE LINCOLN BRAND. Mercury…yet again,…outsold Lincoln. The Malibu and Sonata outsold the mediocre Fusion. The Mustang beat the Camaro by only 3 units…proving that people were NOT waiting for the 2011 boat anchor engines to drop in the Mustang…and that it wouldn’t murder the Camaro when they hit. The Transient Connect is proving it’s worthless. I guess the only bright spot was the fleet heavy Focus, Escape, F-Series and Edge. Bold moves indeed.

Does anyway find it slightly curious that, of the big six (GM, Ford, Chrysler, Toyota, Honda and Nissan), the two players who spent the least this month in incentives (Toyota and Honda) are the two whose sales declined?
