![]() ![]() ![]() I briefly owned a later-model Volvo, a non-turbo, automatic-trannied 740 wagon. It wasn't a bad purchase for $300, though the engine had seen better days. It used about a quart of oil for every two gallons of gas. I probably should have premixed, 2-stroke style. This one, with barely 100k on the odo, is just breaking in. A four speed manual means it could be a bit of fun, too. $10k seems steep, but this could be one of the best out there. I wouldn't mind finding a cheaper version of this and putting it away until the eldest gets her license in six years.
