Default Used Car Value

I have a 2004 Dodge Neon SXT 4 door Sedan.

Three years ago, I had the transmission

replaced (costing 2000.00). Now, according

to what I've seen, the value of my car (as is)

should be about 575.00, as it's not in the greatest

condition (meaning rusted body, etc.) However,

is it reasonable to assume that if I used this car

as a trade in, that the dealer would make money

selling off the parts separately? And if that's the

case, is it also reasonable that I should ask for

more trade-in value? (over 575 dollars?) Thanks.
