Hello, all,

I'm looking for a midsize to large wagon as a second car, for around 3K or less. I've ruled out the piles of Foresters available out there and can't stand the look and drive of the Taurus/Sable inside or out. That leaves the Volvo V70, Toyota Camry, Saab 9-5, VW, and very high mileage Audis, MBs and BMWs.

I love Saabs, having owned an amazing '85 900T, and have seen some 1999-2003 9-5s in my price range with extremely low mileage. I know it's a different animal, thanks to GM, but I'm drawn to the brand. *The question is: The brand is now a dinosaur, which explains the low prices, but how much trouble will there be finding parts down the road? *My tendency is to hang on to cars, doing most repairs myself, so I'm looking at a 5 year + ownership. *I know about VW/Audi reliability issues, but have no idea how Saabs hold up over the years. *Depending on the model year, they have either the 2.3T or 3.0 motor. *

Any feedback and opinions are appreciated.
