Hoping I can get some feedback on my issue. Wife currently drives 2012 Audi Q5 but shopping for a new car. My question is should I trade in my car - a 2016 Kia Sorento and then take the Audi for myself. I would use the trade in value towards payment on new car.
The Audi has approx. 80,000 miles. I think it has the 2L turbo. It had the oil consumption issue but Audi replaced entire engine (for free! - thanks Audi) about 1.5 years ago...the new engine has about 10,000 miles on it. My car is 2016 Kia Sorento EX 6 cyl AWD also with about 80,000 miles. Both cars are in very good condition. Taking the Audi I would loss some of the current bells and whistles like rear camera and cross traffic warnings (not a big deal for me). My concern is the reliability and cost of ownership of the Audi as it ages vs. the newer Kia. "Someone "in the know" said it was a no brainier...dump the Audi kept the Kia. I am questioning his opinion. Any thoughts? Thank you. |
