Avatar Change?

I’ve tried to change the avatar for this site to my new car’s picture.

When I went to my user dashboard on here, I saw that I had to create a “Gravatar,” including a new WordPress account, which I did. (Great, another thing on the Internet for which I have to allow access to my entire existence, and potential ID-theft vector! ) I also linked the WordPress account to the account on here.

And still, after all that, my avatar on here is still listed as Local! (But the Gravatar I created began showing up on the blog site of a former Executive Editor and contributor to this site this last week!)

So how do I clear out that Local avatar and make the Gravatar the avatar?!
