Has anyone driven enough miles to address the reliability issues with the Subaru Forester?** Head gasket, engine, oil usage, paint?* Other issues?* I have not bought a car in 14 years and this car needs to be reliable for 200000 miles because it will be the last car I will buy.* Repairs need to be on a fixed income basis.* The Consumer Reports review is great but I have read disastrous reports.* Comments surely appreciated.*

Doesn't look like they remedied the problem but shortened the oil change interval by 1,500 miles. This just adds more costs the consumer's end.
