TTAC Video of the Week: This Dealer Will Fight for You
When I worked as a service writer, an upset customer threatened to kick my ass right then and there in the service drive. If I recall correctly, he was upset because there was a language barrier and the price for the service came in higher than he'd expected.
Thankfully, a sales guy stepped in and stopped him. Good thing, too, because I didn't know how to react and I froze up.
That was after I worked at a different store and a very large man came in threatening to kick the entire department's ass because he thought we'd lost the keys to his other car. If memory serves, it turns out we didn't -- and the customer quietly apologized.
There's a lot of anger out there.
Anyway, this week's video of the week involves a fight at a dealership -- but instead of customers threatening employees, here we have employees fighting each other.
A Twitter user captured the whole thing, and apparently, it's the second row of the day among these folks.
Maybe we all need a timeout, eh?

Sometimes a good scrap is exactly what the team needs to rally themselves.
The closest thing to a fight I ever saw between employees was at a Chevy dealership in Kentucky when some guy walked in and tossed a cup of coffee into the sales manager's face, and told him "drop dead, you and your wife!". The guy I was talking to said he was one of the sales people at the same owner's store next door. The wife was in F&I at the place next door. I wished I could have found out what it was all about.
