Used Car of the Day: 1999 Nissan Frontier

Today we're keeping it simple with a clean-looking 1999 Nissan Frontier.

There's not a lot to report here -- this truck has the 3.3-liter V6 and 82,000 miles on it. It's a King Cab.

It has four-wheel drive and apparently it runs well, is rust free, and is unmodified. The A/C supposedly blows cold.

That's about all we have -- that and the price, which is $8,500.

The owner has posted some tech questions regarding this truck over the past couple years. Only half a dozen or so posts, but provides a bit more insight. Wonder if he ever fixed that oil leak?

The only thing wrong with this truck is the transmission choice.

That's a really nice Truck. I prefer a stick but I can live with that. Go there with Cash in hand and you can probably get it for less. As IrvingkLaws points out the only concerning thing is the oil leak, unless he fixed it

Datsun Trucks are very popular overseas.

In fact they are extremely popular with Gypsies (oops, I should have said "Roma").

It is a huge stereotype to see a Gypsy selling watermelons from the bed of a Nissan Datsun truck in Europe.

They even featured one in the closing ceremony of a recent Olympic Games there.

Hi Tassos. So your comments go from Angry, to Weird? This is not a good trend lol.

I think I might have actually discovered who you actually are, in real life. If so, you used to get some nice favorable reviews (as a professor) in real life, like 5 years ago. Have you suffered a personal loss since then? Serious question.

Anyway enough of therapist mode. Unlike many here, I believe everything you have told us about your net worth/coffee habits/etc. Have a good day.
