Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.

BMW i4 forum members are calling the Kia EV9 ugly.

Takes a large grille to know one, huh?

There's not a lot I can say here since the forum posts speak for themselves. BMW i4 owners and fans who are using our parent company's forums have spent plenty of time posting about the EV9's looks, and few of the comments are favorable.

This is a little like Bowser calling the Balrog ugly. Or something -- go easy, it's been a long day.

Anyway, click on over to the i4 forums to watch the show -- and cackle at the hypocrisy.

Tim Healey grew up around the auto-parts business and has always had a love for cars — his parents joke his first word was “‘Vette”. Despite this, he wanted to pursue a career in sports writing but he ended up falling semi-accidentally into the automotive-journalism industry, first at Consumer Guide Automotive and later at Web2Carz.com. He also worked as an industry analyst at Mintel Group and freelanced for About.com, CarFax, Vehix.com, High Gear Media, Torque News, FutureCar.com, Cars.com, among others, and of course Vertical Scope sites such as AutoGuide.com, Off-Road.com, and HybridCars.com. He’s an urbanite and as such, doesn’t need a daily driver, but if he had one, it would be compact, sporty, and have a manual transmission.

  • Kwik_Shift_Pro4X I would have to try each one on Flinton Rd in Eastern Ontario. This winding and hilly road is located between HWY 41 S and HWY 7 W.
  • Slavuta "a bill that would helped fund consumers who wanted to turn their used cars into EVs" - sounds like subsidies to good $$ earners were cut. Did anyone listened what this is about?
  • MaintenanceCosts Mustang, because I have small kids who fit in the back seats, and because a Coyote is more thrilling than a turbo VQ.That said I think the Z is by far the better-looking car.The third car that should be in this conversation is the BMW Supra with the six and a manual, and if it only had the vestigial rear seats of the Mustang it would be my choice over either the Mustang or the Z.
  • Ger65690267 A large part of Stellantis's profits comes from their North American operations, especially Jeep & RAM.However, they have been cutting them in the knees these last few years with slow to update products and lowest rated in the industry service dealership network.Higher prices on products or features their traditional customers don't want, combined with issues that their dealerships are slow to react to. What did Tavares think was going to happen. Can't wait to see who buys Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep & RAM next.
  • Arthur Dailey The Buick Roadmaster of that generation did have a following, and I can understand that. However minivans were far more practical and family friendly. I cannot even remember seeing an Olds wagon of this generation. This particular vehicle however looks to have been abused or modified by someone with limited funds or just plain 'bad taste'.
