Howdy, folks — consider this a handy reminder to vote for your Best and Worst cars of 2018. See here for all the details, and click HERE to vote.

Voting closes Monday, so you still have a few days left to get cracking. The response rate is a little low so far, so if you want your voice to be heard, speak up!

A few of you have mentioned that the survey doesn’t allow you to pick vehicles if you have fewer than 10 in mind in either category. If you want to nominate fewer than 10 vehicles in a category, put N/A for the ones you skip.

I may also cull some nominations from the comments, if the comment is structured to match the survey. I won’t bend the rules in such a way for the final voting.

So get in there, get heard, and VOTE. Unlike the ballot casting Americans will do next month, you don’t even need to leave your house.

Tim Healey grew up around the auto-parts business and has always had a love for cars — his parents joke his first word was “‘Vette”. Despite this, he wanted to pursue a career in sports writing but he ended up falling semi-accidentally into the automotive-journalism industry, first at Consumer Guide Automotive and later at Web2Carz.com. He also worked as an industry analyst at Mintel Group and freelanced for About.com, CarFax, Vehix.com, High Gear Media, Torque News, FutureCar.com, Cars.com, among others, and of course Vertical Scope sites such as AutoGuide.com, Off-Road.com, and HybridCars.com. He’s an urbanite and as such, doesn’t need a daily driver, but if he had one, it would be compact, sporty, and have a manual transmission.

best: drove a S550 coupe, that was really nice. worst: Tesla 3. Come on it's built in a tent.

If there were a car better than the 2014 TSX Sportwagon that I drive now, I'd buy it.

For clarification, is this for ALL cars available for the 2018 year or all cars that were new for the 2018 model year?

Is there any pretense at a requirement that a person must have actually driven the car(s) they nominate? If so, could that be spelled out? If not, what merit does any nomination have? And while I'm at it, I get a little sick and tired of the "B&B" sobriquet. It's (shall we say) almost certain to be untrue, and more than a little kitschy.
