Let There Be Light: Mazda Shows Specialty MX5s at SEMA Show

Mazda will show two different concepts of its lightweight convertible next month at the annual SEMA show in Las Vegas.
The first, a Speedster concept of the MX-5 Miata is a lightweight version of the two-door, two-seater that, among other things, dumps the windshield in favor of a deflector and hopefully looks like a damn Bocar XP-5.
The second, a Spyder concept of the MX-5 is a mild update of the small convertible with a sculpted leather interior and a “concept” Mercury Silver paint color. (Just make it available already, Mazda.)
The cars will be displayed when the show starts Nov. 3 in Las Vegas.

Now give us a hatchback coupe along the lines of the first generation RX-7. MX-5 GT, anyone?
I remember the last generation speedster concept was very nice looking (ditched the windshield for a little deflector)-- but I guess these things can't get approved for the road. Also, Mazda colors are awful.
If FCA sells a version of this, will they call it the Fiat Lux?
