Dereck,
Missed one from last night

Yea but, “It will have a fixed windscreen with a significant rake.”
Ewwwwww.
When you understand that the nearly straight-up grill and windshield are the major reason why the Jeeps highway mileage is so poor, you’ll understand why they’re looking for more rake. To be quite honest, very, VERY few Jeepers drop the windshield of their Jeeps any more; that glass serves as extra armor against stones and brush flying into your face.
Check back in a couple of hours about that one; the story’s already on deck.
I’m looking forward to it!
I don’t know why I like news about a vehicle which is built more like the Kubota B8200 4wd tractor I drove as a kid than like the respectable and efficient machines in my driveway, but I’m looking forward to every tidbit of Wrangler (and Renegade) news you all publish. :-)
I was all over (but not in) the sole Renegade (Trailhawk) at the Pittsburgh Auto Show yesterday. It was nice.
I wonder which Hondas will get the ax?
The use of the word “variants” suggests t me that the number of models, will be maintained, but each model will have a shorter list of levels/options.
The current 911 is very sexyful, and I love the rear end on it. It’s now my second favorite, after the fat n’ chunky mid 90s one (the 993).
