Although driving impressions for the Jeep Renegade are still embargoed, pricing has leaked on a third party site, and we can confirm that a 4×4 model with a 6-speed manual will be available – but not on the top trim Trailhawk version.
The 1.4T Multiair 4-cylinder turbo engine will be available with a 6-speed manual exclusively, while the 2.4L Tigershark I4 will come with 9-speed ZF automatic. Both configurations can be had in either FWD or AWD, while the TrailHawk gets an uprated AWD with 20:1 crawl ratio, five different modes and a low range mode in first gear, similar to the Cherokee Trailhawk.
Per the Jeep Renegade Forum:
Sport: $17,995
4×4 adds $2,000
Our review will go live tomorrow.

The question is: what does this thing weigh? All recent Chryfis seem to be too well padded.
I think it's a terrible idea to have two different front ends. The original promo pics of the trailhawk looked so much better...why not just have that across the board?
Pricewise it is about what the current Patriot goes for. I wonder how long the Patriot/Compass will linger on for. I see plenty around probably because there are great lease deals for low FICA and the lessees can brag about driving a Jeep. "Hey, its Trail Rated!"
If Jeep can sell the row of urinals, they can sell anything. Here's anything.
